Adventure Essential: Salomon – XA Filter Cap

We love this new XA Filter Cap from Salomon, it means when you're out hiking, biking or trekking you can refill your flask from flowing water sources and it will filter 99.99% of bacteria. 

With this handy addition to your adventure pack you'll get the added reassurance of being able to keep hydrated without lugging around excess water, the new XA Filter Cap from Salomon can give you a quick quench from any natural flowing water sources like streams and rivers (avoid stagnant water).

The XA Filter Cap 42 filters 99.99% of bacteria including Cryptosporidium oocysts, e-coli and salmonella from natural water sources, so you can drink safely, carry less and therefore move more efficiently resulting in less fatigue. We like the sounds of that!

The cap filter will filter approx 1,000 litres of water. The cap is compatible with a 42mm opening (Salomon soft flask purchased from spring 2020 onwards). So whether you're heading out trail running, hiking, travelling, backcountry touring or wild camping be sure to pack your cap!
