53 Degrees North are calling for people to unleash their inner-explorer this summer at Adventure Festival. Explore Blessington Lakes, Co. Wicklow by running, climbing, kayaking, camping and more in one of Ireland's most scenic locations.

Join 53 Degrees North in association with Columbia and Wicklow Outdoors this August Bank Holiday weekend for the first Irish adventure festival of its kind. You can grab your tickets here, but first things first what can you expect from the weekend on August 4th and 5th?

We've got the lowdown:

There are different ticket options from day tickets to weekend family passes and prices start from €75.

The festival takes place in Lacken, Blessington, Co. Wicklow. Lacken is located right beside the famous Blessington Lakes and is surrounded by the lush, green, Wicklow wilderness.

There will be camping, hiking, hillwalking, mountain biking, archery, axe throwing, climbing, kayaking, wakeboarding, yoga, pilates, nature walks and expert talks going on over the weekend.

If that wasn't enough to keep you occupied, there will be live music and a film night hosted by the famous Kendal Mountain Festival.

An on site bar supported by local craft beer brewery and local whiskey brand.

Food for all tastes from BBQ and burritos to vegetarian and pizza.

For all the information on the Adventure Festival check out 53 Degrees North website, and check out their helpful FAQ page and don't forget to unleash your inner-explorer!
