5. This is a great option if you're planning a snow trip. Salomon's best-selling Brilliant Jacket has waterproof 4-way stretch fabric, it's warm and cozy (we can vouch for that, we've been trialling one) and it's got 100g insulation so good news for the cold-blooded. 6. Speaking of snow trips, we love this Powder Lite Vest from Columbia. It has Columbia's signature reflective lining to keep your core insulated. We have gloves with this reflective lining that have been keeping us cosy on our adventure. The price for the vest is £75.

8. 9. We love this Koncept Fierce Bra. The Fierce Bra was designed to allow you to feel supported throughout your entire workout with sweat-wicking and four-way stretch fabric. 10. We can vouch for this Sherpa hat, we got a Sabi Hat and it's the ideal choice for the winter season when adventuring out in the elements. It's crafted from pure lambswool, this hat also benefits from a micro fleece lining that is both protective from the cold as well as incredibly soft and comfortable. 13. Unlucky for some, but at number 13 we love The North Face Women's 1996 Retro Nuptse Vest. It's available at 53 Degrees North. 14. Scandinavian brand, Didriksons, is now stocked at 53 Degrees North and they do great tech gear. This parka is 100% waterproof and windproof with all seams taped - the perfect gift for anyone planning an adventure outside in the elements. Didriksons Nadine Parka has a soft outer material and a quilted interior to better retain heat. Sounds cosy to us. Price €260.

15. If you're not familiar Sorel do incredible boots! They're comfortable, practical and they look good! Great combo. These Sorel Women's Explorer Joan would be a great gift for any explorer - the warmth of a winter boot meets the fit of a trainer AND waterproof.

16. We kept spotting these items by United by Blue of 53 Degrees' Instagram. It turns out they are the exclusive stockists. United By Blue was created with the idea that a successful outdoor brand can do serious conservation work, which of course is an ethos we love. This is a great gift idea by United by Blue - take a break and have a well earned cool drink from this copper mug. Price €30.

18. Another great piece from Dare 2B x Julien Macdonald Women's Affluence Ski Jacket, a great gift idea for yourself, or someone heading away to the snow in the new year. Made from highly waterproof yet breathable ARED 10,000 fabric. 19. We love these hoodies from Gym+Coffee - Irish designed athleisure brand. They're €65 and come in a range of colours. The design features?  Fitted style enables flexibility and allows natural movement, high zip and drawcord provides structure and complements physique, and thumb holes on cuffs deliver optimum warmth and comfort. 21. This might be out of the ordinary, but we love this idea for Christmas - the gift of a tree. The guys at Grown Clothing have come up with this concept and we for one are on board. If you jump onto their site you can find out more, but you'll essentially get a certified tree planted for you in Irish soil - "we want to challenge the throwaway mentality and invest in our planet". So this year gift a tree for €12.

23. This next item is a fun little stocking filler for the environmentally friendly. A bamboo toothbrush helps protects our environment due to the fact that it is manufactured from fast-growing bamboo. The outcome of switching to bamboo toothbrushes is helping to reduce the amount of plastics on our planet.
