Decathlon opened their Irish flagship superstore this month in Ballymun, Dublin. But what can we expect from the world's biggest sports retailer and online sports store?

Decathlon's main mission is to make sport accessible to as many people as they can. That means they have affordable equipment and clothing for every sport imaginable from surfing to running, hiking to kayaking, tennis to cycling. In fact Decathlon stock goods related to 70 different sports across the 17,000sq m site!

Despite opening during the pandemic Decathlon assured customers that safety was key. "Safe shopping procedures will be in place and we look forward to welcoming you to this unique sports shopping experience."

Decathlon intend to open a further eight stores around Ireland so keep your eyes peeled.
