Kit Essentials for Running this Winter

As the days get shorter, and the Dublin Marathon looms, there are lots of you putting in the miles either before or after work and that can ultimately mean running in low light or the dark. Here we pick our top five kit essentials for running in the dark and staying safe this winter. 

So often when you're running you can be deep in thought, listening to music, focused on the mileage or getting a good time. At least with the right reflective and safety gear you don't have to worry about being seen by drivers and cyclists. Just this week we put some Ultimate Performance reflective bits and bobs to the test on a run in Dublin. 

Ultimate Performance Eddystone is a bright blue LED light. It clips on to either your clothing or a bag strap and can be visible up to half a mile away. 

Ultimate Performance Flamborough LED Armstrap provides either a constant or flashing ultra bright LED which is visible again at up to half a mile away. You can attach it to arm or ankle whatever works for you.
