The weather is may be chilly but we've got lots of spring adventures planned so this week we delved into the world of layers to bring you the best layers for adventure - the base layer, the mid layer, the outer layer.

First up is this great baselayer from Helly Hansen, the Merino Light Long Sleeve. This lightweight merino wool product has great comfort, odour resistance and breathability. Wicking polyester exterior to the max which moves moisture away from the body ensuring that the skin remains dry on your next adventure into the great outdoors.

We love to layer. That's why the Craghoppers Expert Basecamp 200 Interactive Jacket makes the list. A brilliant value-for-money interactive fleece jacket that's a workwear staple - slip it over a base top or zip it into an interactive waterproof to boost performance. Craghoppers advocate any type of adventure so this fleece will serve you well on any adventure - big or small!

For those of you who follow us regularly, you might notice we love bright bold colours. So it's unsurprising that the Helly Hansen Elements Summer Coat is one of our must-haves for spring. We love the Elements Summer Coat feminine fit, with draping fabric and minimalistic detailing. It's available in other colours which you can shop here.

Finally, we love this Dare2Be layer. A showerproof and breathable softshell jacket with hood. Made from iLUS Softshell fabric, the Verify Softshell Midlayer Jacket is wind resistant, has a detachable technical hood, hem to seal out the elements. We just love the look and feel of this layer, perfect for any season. We love this colour too, bright and bold.
