What We're Loving this August

Each month the Girl Outdoor Magazine crew pick the things making waves in our world. 

Inspired by surf trips around the world the gang at Shells Cafe have released another cookbook called Good Vibes Cookbook, and we can't wait to get our hands on it. It's been getting rave reviews. The book is full of recipes for happy and healthy eating and is a follow up to Surf Cafe Cookbook and Surf Cafe Living. So expect delicious, nutritious recipes using ‘clean’ foods. If you're not a fan of cooking, then just make a trip to Shells Cafe in Strandhill, Co. Sligo and experience their amazing menu first hand!

It was announced that Zoggs SS19 swimwear will be made from waste recovered from the ocean. Their Ecolast™ swimwear begins its life as plastic waste which would otherwise cause damage to our planet, oceans and marine life. Abandoned ghost fishing nets, carpet (which also takes hundreds of years to degrade) and industrial waste is rescued from the oceans and saved from landfill, through different initiatives and projects such as The ECONYL®.
